About us

What we do

We are Twisted Alley Chasers, a group of individuals who share a passion for one thing, severe weather. We chase all types of weather phenomenon and live stream our chases on tvnweather.com. Our members come from different countries and counties, such as: USA, Finland, and the UK, and bring different skills and attributes to the team. Collectively we have a passion and drive for nature and promoting awareness of the dangers which are associated with severe weather.

Our Aim

Our shared goal is to chase, study, and capture weather images and video, as well as protecting and warning local people of the imminent severe weather threats. We try and chase anything, from hurricanes, to blizzards, and steam it all online. We are also American Red Cross registered, and conduct search and rescue operations when needed while doing our very best to help save lives.  Reporting Tornadoes to help in advanced warnings to give everyone more time to get to safety.

Early Days

I always had a keen interest in weather from such a young age, throughout the years I was inspired by so many different things.  I took various subjects at college but was never certain on what I wanted to do nor take any of my qualifications and do something with it. But I did take one on board and decided that I had to get something out of my business qualification. So in 2012 during the storm season, I decided to start up what was called UK2USA Storm Chasers.  Starting up with just one person myself and one other driver. Throughout the years I kept working on making it bigger and better while advertising for new members. We had new opportnities working with FOX and signing up with TVN weather also in 2012, It was certainly shaping up. By 2015 there was 9 members, most of which were situated in the US while a few including my self lived in the UK ( hence the UK2USA name ). By end of 2015 we decided to work on a new name, mixing some names together we then came up with Twisted Alley Chasers and as of May 2016 we have 12 members and all with different roles. It has certainly been a great time and seeing the team evolve into a great family. Lee

"A professional team with passionate members"

"I have been working with the team for over a year now, and I have definitely witnessed first hand the dedication and commitment that everyone involved shows. I have definitely learned a lot from them and they are a credit to the chasing community"- Samantha Block

"Starting back in 2012 when my idea came to me of starting up a Storm Chasing group, back then I would never have thought it would expand to what it is now. Throughout the couple of years I have put endless resources and time into finding committed team members, that I have now done and very proud to whom I have. We will continue to grow and establish ourselves in the chaser world being bigger and better to help save lives and bringing severe weather to you. It’s been an honour to run such an amazing team of people and look forward to every chase we have.out ". Lee Webb

I have been a weather nut all my life. Following TVNWeather.com. I liked watching the chase team Uk2Usa. So i contacted them spring of 2014 and the rest is history. We all share the same passion and love for storms, and the safety for others in a threatening situation. We soon expanded from covering the U.K to U.S.A.. After many conversations and putting our minds togather we Created Twisted Alley Chasers. Looking forward to another great chase season in 2015 and the years to come.- Drake Lewton

I Have always been fascinated by storms. Living in Oklahoma it is just part of life. I enjoy the knowledge that you learn from each storm there's not one alike. I have just recently joined the uk2usa chase team. I have been chatting and listening to there stories and am excited to be part of the team. As the team grows we hope to be able to give are followers everything they hope for.- Michael Brown

At the start of the tornado season in 2014 i began watching tvnweather.com. The live streams were always very exciting and i chased ( via the internet ) developing storms with many of the teams that were streaming.
I noticed UK2USA Storm Chasers and followed them a lot during that season, i also found them on a Facebook page and began following them.
A few months ago, after applying to work with them on their Facebook page, i joined the team posting information about severe weather in Finland and other other unusual weather i thought people would like to see from around the world.
I have gained some nice friends here, people with the same mind-set as me and somewhere i can feel comfortable.
I really enjoy talking and learning each day from the other members of the team and look forward to what next year has to offer. -Rebekka Kirkanen
